Apple TV on multiple tvs

Why do I have to sign into our second tv every time I watch it on our first tv? This is through the xfinity Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app is supposed to apply the user (Apple ID) from the app’s last use, unless you signed out, reset the app, or reinstalled the app. That functionality apparently isn’t working as it should for you. Maybe the user information wasn’t saved properly?

  1. Try a cold restart of the Xfinity box,
  2. Try to find out if new system software is available, and install if available,
  3. Delete and reinstall the Apple TV+ app (if deletion is supported for that app),
  4. Else use the in-app Reset function,
  5. Clear caches for the app(s) on the Xfinity box, if it has such a function.


If the issue persists after all that, then please contact the Apple Support staff for further assistance.
