Apple Mail under Sonoma won't let me attach a newly saved file - it is greyed out in the dialogue box. I have to cancel the dialogue box and then do it again.
In the image you can see "Ballot paper 2024.pdf" is greyed. It doesn't happen if I wait 10 seconds after I save a file, so I'm too quick for it. It didn't happen on Ventura.
