Since updating my Series 4 Apple watch to iOS 10 I can no longer add music. I can *see* the music but if I try to add it the circle spins for a bit (says "downloading" but then stops and nothing has been added. I unpaired and re-paired the watch, and even tried a factory reset, but no joy. Strangely even after the factory reset the Storage says 2.8G music data. Any ideas anyone?

Sorry, but downgrading watchOS is not supported.
If you restore your Apple Watch without using the latest backup, there should not be any other music data on it.
Do you have an Apple Music subscription on your iPhone? If yes, are those titles already downloaded completely onto your iPhone?
Is your watch and iPhone being charged while you sync the music to your Apple Watch?
I've tried it both ways - on charge and not on charge. It makes no difference.
Did you try to unpair it and set it up as a new device after that?
Yes, I tried unpairing and also resetting on the watch itself. Neither fixed the problem. I don’t suppose it’s possible to roll back to an older OS is it?
Thanks, yes, I do have Apple Music, and yes the titles are downloaded.
