iPad dimming the screen

Hello,

My iPad is dimming the screen, even though the brightness is at max and the auto-brightness feature is turned off.

I've read that this issue might be due to the iPad overheating.

This is very important to me, because I use the iPad to edit pictures, and I have to wait about 10 minutes for it to get back to the max brightness.
