How to change notification settings for iMessage on macOS Sonoma

I'm trying to change the notification for iMessage but I can't. I have a macOS Sonoma and it is a 2020 model. I searched up how to fix it but it said click on Message, then look for Preference and it didn't show that. So please help me.
