Final cut pro - Dual Mono dropdown missing
Hi there
The option to change a audio only clip (exported from RODE go wireles 2 mics) to Dual Mono seems to be missing here on FCPx 10.7.1
Im used to seeing a drop down?
What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks

In your screen shot, I don't see a clip in the Timeline selected. And what's in the Inspector is a clip that has no audio. Select a clip in the Timeline, go to the Audio tab of the Inspector, show us that screen shot.

Thank you - i have managed to figure it out
I am still struggling to synchronise clips - that option is greyed out in all instances. No doubt i am looking at the clips in the wrong context/level as i was with the above but any tips are appreciated. Thanks
You synchronize clips in the browser, not the timeline.
Just select the clips you want in the browser, and do one of the following:
1) Control-click one of the clips, and choose Synchronize Clips...
or
2) From the Clip menu, choose Synchronize Clips...
or
3) Press the keyboard shortcut Command-Option-G
I am very new to Final Cut pro - but here is the screen shot of the project i am working on
Make sure you have a channel selected not the container. Post a screenshot of what you’re doing.
Need to see what you’re doing in the Audio insulator and what you have selected there. That’s where you make the change.
