Mazda Bluetooth does not allow shuffle function

I have iPhone 14 Pro and use apples music programme. The phone connects to the car via Bluetooth and works fine - except the shuffle function doesn’t work. I’m surprised to see that this is an issue that’s been reported on for at least a decade and is still happening. In other cars and when only using phone the shuffle function works without a problem.
