Find My app not updating

For the last month or longer, the Find My app is not updating locations. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and made sure background refresh is on to no avail. The app will show a location from 3 days prior, or not at all. I’ve even tried it when my husband is in the same room as I am with good internet service, but it will not update. Same results from my watch and my phone.
