rosetta apps on Sonoma/MBP?
I use 1Password- just upgraded to 2023 MacBook Pro. 1Password is asking me to install Rosetta to run the app. Good idea? What are my options?

Just means that 1Password has not been optimized for the Silicon chip. Apple provides Rosetta to run those apps that have not been optimized. You will not notice any difference, just that when they do finally update 1Password, it may run a little faster. I have not seen any issues with Rosetta and Apple has experience in these kind of transitions as they used Rosetta before to transition from the PowerPC chips to Intel chips back in 2006.

No Problem. The Final Cut Pro app is optimized for Apple Silicon and some features require it, but you may find some plug-ins that will still require Rosetta and when Final Cut Pro is launched it may ask for Rosetta to load the plug-ins. Native support for Silicon started with Final Cut Pro version 10.5 and the latest version is 10.7.1.
Thanks- I see that Final Cut is also asking for Rosetta…
