vertical rows are crammed together with illegible text
note how leading is compressed. this only happens on the top of the form, which should be 1.5x as high.
compare it to chrome which displays correctly:

I'm not seeing the issue with an iMac 27" Intel (not Apple Silicon) using macOS Sonoma 14.5 and Safari 17.5. Quit Safari, clear the history and the cookies, restart the Mac (for good measure) and try again.
oh - I have the new m3 24".
I must have clicked on the old iMac which was 27"
Clearing history worked. I thought I had done that. MUCH BETTER. thanX!
