Photos look different in edit screen

I’m in an iPhone 12. When I open a photo in photos and edit it, I get it looking great, I hit Done and the photos loses its vibrancy and pop. Like you can see a noticeable difference between when you tap edit and when you tap done. it looks the way I want it to in edit and immediately changes when I tap done. It’s maddening and other people have had the same issue on iPhone 12’s and 11’s but no answer. Please help me. I’m about to throw the phone out of the window
