If You Can't Find An App On Your iPhone/iPad
If you can't find an app on your iPhone or iPad or believe it's been deleted, follow the headings that apply to your situation. If you're still having issues after reading this through, feel free to post a detailed question.
If Your App Is A System/Built-In App
First, check to make sure the app's not on your device- go to the Home Screen, then swipe down from the middle of the screen until the search bar shows up. Search for the app's name and see if it appears.
If the app shows up, press and hold on the app, then select 'Add to Home Screen' and arrange it as desired.
If the app does not show up, check to see if it's is one of the apps listed here. If it is, they can be removed- and subsequently redownloaded- from the App Store like any other app. Simply open the App Store and search for it, then tap the cloud icon.
If the app doesn't show up in Search but isn't in the App Store (or the missing app is the App Store), it's likely been restricted with Screen Time controls or MDM. You'll have to talk to your family organizer/parent or guardian/IT department.

- If the app shows a price tag instead but you're sure you've purchased it with that account already, tap your picture in the top right, then your name at the top and check under 'Hidden Purchases'.
- If it's not visible on the App Store, it's either been removed (by the developer or Apple) or it's not available in your country/region. Either way, you won't be able to download the app.
