I think Apple is deliberating ignoring these problems or giving them very low priority. It's not in their best interest to have folks run Windows on their hardware. People think Microsoft is evil, but Apple is 10x more so. Their policies have always been very closed and unfriendly to competitors.

It's refreshing to see that Apple's brainwashing techniques (Apple=good, Microsoft=bad) are starting to wear off. Microsoft does play rough but they are far more transparent than Apple.

Take note, Apple computers are now PC's the only difference being a custom boot ROM and the OS itself. New machines are made the same place that 90% of all PCs are built, often using cheaper hardware/components than some of the well known PC brands. All you have to do is look at this and other Apple boards to see how many machines are failing due to various hardware faults. So, if you don't like being taken advantage of use Apple feedback to let them know, even if it's just correcting faulty drivers, if they don't hear from you, no action will be taken.

You do NOT want to choose the Apple multitouch Version: 2.1.1.100
This is the one causing the crash.

Either try choosing Apple multitouch Version: 2.1.1.9 or totally disable both these devices and use an external mouse.

I submitted a bug report as well.

Apple have a new version of the touchpad driver included with Bootcamp 3.0 on the Snow Leopard install DVD. The driver in Bootcamp 3.0 is 2.1.2.112.

I'm trying it out now, as they state on their FAQ that it has "Improved tap-to-click support - The ability to tap the track pad to click the mouse button is now supported on all Mac portables that run Boot Camp."

So far so good. I get my double finger secondary tap back, and the track pad responsiveness that I got in driver .100 is back as well.

Lets hope the BSOD is fixed!
