I just recently subscribe to roadrunner, when i went to use firefox a question mark appeared over it an it would not run. I used safari to reach the internet. I then tried to redownload firefox and it keeps coming up "verification failed"?

Hello and welcome to discussions,

Its possible that you have not installed Firefox correctly. Down load the trial copy of AppZapper and remove the original copy. The have a look in here....

Can you use "About this Mac" to check the exact version of the Mac OS you have. Your profile's equipment line reads "10.0.X" which is the earliest iteration of Mac OSX and one that was already obsolete when the first eMac shipped. The first eMacs shipped with 10.1.4.

If your OS is older, you may have been using an older version of FireFox, but the version you can download today requires at least 10.4.11.

PowerMac G4 MDD 1.25G SP;   Mac OS X (10.4.11)   ; MacBookPro Late2007 2.2G 15" (10.5.7); PowerBook G4 1Ghz 17" (10.4.11)

"a questin mark appeared over it"

that sounds like you clicked on a dock icon with a broken alias link thing.
did you try to run it directly from the applications folder???? As far as I know, dock icons will not function if the application was moved.

Not sure about the Verification Failed.
but with Fire Fox you will need a newer OS. until then, try Opera... however it too will be an outdated browser...but Opera shouldn't give you a verification failed message.

lots of machines. all needing parts lol. 2 400mhz 1gb imacs work. 9.2.2/10.3.9     Several Other Machines...
