I just received my new Airport Extreme Base Station, to replace my previous version which I had no problems with, first I had a lot of problems connecting to xbox but after reseting it and re-configuring the new AEBS xbox live started to work again, games are fine, but the netflix online streaming does not work from the xbox, it does work from my mac, anyone else having problems with the new AEBS?
P.S. I am getting better Wireless N Speeds and signal with the new AEBS.

I reset my new AEBS and set it up again and still no dice on Netflix Streaming, it worked fine with my old Airport Extreme but still not with the new one, I had "enable port mapping protocol" checked, and uncheckd and I got further with Netflix but it was very slow and could only get one movie to stream, however xbox live online gaming works fine, and so does my Vonage but something in the new AEBS does not like Netflix Video Streaming for some reason.

I am having the same issue. My xbox 360 is hardwired to my Airport Extreme Basestation Fall 2009 version that i just received a couple of days ago. I NEVER used to have issues on my other router that I have and another I borrowed from a friend. I do NOT want to take this back, so I am hoping for a response.

I can try to help, but a lot depends on your Internet modem.
I have CenturyTel as a provider. I authenticate using PPPoE. I had this problem on any of the routers I had until I finally decided to put my head into it and resolve the issue.
The DSL router is configured as a bridge, DHCP is turned off, and I have PPPoE configured on the DSL router. My AirPort Extreme is configured for DHCP.(this configuration is normally known as double NAT).
I fixed my problem by logging into the DSL modem and configuring the the modem to "let LAN device Share Internet address". I also went into the configuration page and checked the box to allow Xbox.
NOTE: every DSL modem for Internet providers are different so your configuration pages might say something different.
The other way is to configure PPPoE on the AirPort Extreme, that will allow the device to be assigned a public IP with Open NAT translation. You will need to know your ISPs user ID and password provided to you for this one. Also, I have read that this method causes intermittent interruption of services. I cannot confirm since I have mine set up like option number one. I do double NAT. Hope this helps

I have comcast and a cable modem. I will see if I can find some settings on the modem itself. I have tried port forwarding and manually reserving an IP for the xbox and still nothing.

Netflix still doesn't work. This is terrible. I have tried every setting imaginable and still nothing. I think I am going to take back this router that doesn't function.
