Hi,
I used handbreak, default setting to rip the movie, and Isquint, High Quality setting, the entire process took over 6 hours, is that normal? The movie was over 2 hours and I'm useing a Powerbook G4 1.67, if that helps
Anyone using other Apps which are faster.
Thanks

I've used Handbrake to rip a 2hr movie to iPod format and it took me about 6 hours also.
You might also try a program called DVD2Pod. It might run a little bit faster.

You are using an old chip, the G4.
Any trancoding of video is very chip/system intensive, add to this you are breaking the encryption off of a DVD as it is read. Also, with high quality settings, you are probably doing 2 pass encoding, this doubles the time.
Handbrake converts a 2 hour movie on my system in about 2.5 to 3 hours.
It is never going to be a very fast process.

Also of interest-the site referenced above to download clone dvd mobile is a pirate site.
The clonedvd software is commercial software.
Don't steal!
