I know it comes up for me after the reboot. I just bought this machine on the 12th of October and got the up to date disk. I come from PC's both windows and Unix/Linux and it amused me because of all the "macs don't crash" business I always heard from people lol. Now it is just annoying though and bordering on useless. Other than that problem that just popped up after the upgrade I love the machine. Just wish I could play Rome Total War on the thing at a decent frame rate!

A bit concerned, but glad to know I'm not the only person with this problem. i thought it might have been a bad ram stick, here's my post with my log entry --> http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5707197&#5707197

I've got this issue as well. The way it manifests for me is that after a bit of time using the wireless -- 1-3 hours, it seems -- the machine loses connection to the internet. If I then click on the AirPort icon in the taskbar I get a kernel panic, without fail. For the time being I've had to give up on the wireless, and am hardwired. Not cool.

Same problem here.

When I try to print to Bonjour printer (HP 3800dn via airport), print does not work, airport gets disconnected (I know because Safari no longer can refresh a page or load a new one) even though the airport signal still shows full strength. Then when I try to disconnect and reconnect airport kernel panics and there is a hard crash.

My 2.2GHz 15 inch MacBook Pro used to have frequent airport disconnect issue with 10.4.10, but that's improved quite a bit with 10.5. Then again, under 10.4.10 it never hard crashed like this either.

Happened again. Kernel panic when internet disconnects, and I try to click on the airport icon in the toolbar.

I too have gotten at least 5 of these exact KPs in the past week. All submitted to Apple. I'm not running anything overt at the time of crashes, but am always connected to a wireless network (happened both when connected to an AirPort Extreme at home, and at public wireless in the hotel).

Very much hoping for a fix soon. KPs are embarrassing.
