Hey everyone, I'm having the same problem. I thought it was because I calibrated it but this has only happened since I updated my 3rd gen nano the other day. So if I'm reading this right...the voice is right but the screen is wrong? Cause I'm in a challenge on Nikeplus and want to make sure its putting in accurate info. Hopefully this problem gets fixed soon. I'm going to call apple tomorrow that way they keep receiving these calls and hopefully will fix it faster.

So this discussion was started at the beginning of the month anyone seen any progress? I was really sad to find out what actually felt like 6 miles the other day was the actual four I usually run. Too bad, luckily its the off season. But please Apple Gods fix the problem!!

My new 3rd gen Nano also displays incorrect mileage on the display. The voice says it correctly and the data uploaded to Nike is correct. It's annoying to have such a nice product otherwise messed up with this issue. Please fix it soon!

Add me to the list of disappointed customers. I bought the 3g nano and now a calculator to do the km to mile conversion.
Does anyone know if Leopard has bugs as well?

And.... I'm sure my husband will be glad when it's fixed too because he's tired of me complaining and wondering what's going on. Thank you guys for posting this as I couldn't find anything.

Something interesting to report ..
After I started this topic I submitted the bug via bugreport.apple.com. I logged in just a minute ago to check if there had been any updates. When I click on the problem I get this message - "You do not have privileges to view problemID xxxxxxx."
This is the only bug I have submitted getting this message.

My daughter just bought the new nano and hasn't had a problem until a few days ago. Now, the display mileage is much higher than the voice mileage? Is there a fix yet?? I see this is an ongoing issue since last March. The nikeplus forums discuss this issue but no fix.

Yes Leopard has the same problem. I was suckered into an "old lady who swallowed the fly" type cycle with this one. I bought Leopard so I could use the 3rd gen nano I bought to log my miles with the nike + chip, only to find it doesn't work...
I don't know why she swallowed the fly...

SAME HERE! its pretty annoying really - sometimes like to refer to my history of runs on my ipod but they are all wrong! tried resetting my 3rd gen nano 8gb to no avail. Get a move on Apple and give us a fix!!!

Add me to the list. "Mileage" on the iPod screen and "Your last workout" on iTunes is higher than it should be and is equivalent to km, but shows correctly on the Nike website and in iTunes workout history. The voice updates are accurate.

I called Apple support yesterday and talked to one of the support persons. I pointed out this discussion thread while on the phone and she made a note of this thread in the problem report.
Meanwhile I did check out the new iTunes 7.5 version for both the Windows and Mac platform. They have not released a fix for the iPod nano along with the iTunes 7.5 release on either of the platform. Hope they come out with the fix soon.
