I cannot access my iDisk
Posted: Nov 7, 2007 5:02 PM

When I try to access my iDisk it gives me the following error:

Your iDisk is not available because connecting to the iDisk server failed.
An unexpected error occurred (error code -5016).

The support page does not indicate any problems with iDisk now... has anyone else encountered this error message now?

Is this error on my end or the server end?

Help!!

Mine won't connect either right now. :(

I can access my homepage via the internet, but I can not connect to my iDisk via my Finder to upload files.

Same thing here. Can't access my iDisk on two of my macs. I keep waiting of my .mac account to actually be dependable and useful. Pretty flakey.

Yep, same here, there is no noted issue in terms of the status lights....
I've tried connecting through Safari, and through finder in various ways, to no avail.
Sad cause, when I need a document on my iDisk to do my homework.

I can't connect either. Tried from my Mac at work, as well as my Mac at home. Whenever I try it freezes the Finder and I have to relaunch it.

Mine has begun to work on and off. Once I'm connected, it will only stay connected for a little while. Then it tells me that the server has disconnected.
