this sounds like a Ram problem right? i have poor knowledge in computers and even worse with macs, so right now my mouse flies all over teh screen, but every 5 seconds it will behave. and then when i try to open things, it like, haults before it opens a folder.
is this a bug? but i heard macs do not get viruses...but it is suspect.
what can i do to fix this?
i just took my mac on an airplane and now it is doing this. are they airplane safe?

Are you using the iStat Pro widget?
According to that thread it seems to be the cause. It was in my case.
