iTunes Store Very Slow

I was impressed last week when I downloaded an entire album in under 10 minutes, now the store is very sluggish. I could not preview any tracks without it buffering 8 times and now it is taking me 10 minutes just to download one song. The rest of my internet is working fine.
Please check on your servers.

I'm having this same issue. It's getting really REALLY annoying buffering 10-15 times to listen to a 30 second clip.

Same problem here, on both my PCs, following upgrade to iTunes 7.6. Connection is very slow and previews are constantly interrupted for rebuffering. This problem occurs only in iTunes. No other streaming problems at other sites.

Luckily im not the only one with this problem! This is getting very annoying and very difficult very fast! I have a cable broadband connection and a song that took me less than 10 seconds to download is taking me nearly half an hour! Not to mention all the rebufferings when I try to preview a song. I hope this bug gets fixed soon because I am very displeased with this service. I restored my PC, checked for viruses, and re-installed my iTunes but its still extremely slow.

Is 2016.8 kbps too slow for the iTunes store? The speed-check site measured my cable internet connection at this speed. But I still get the constant stream rebuffering at the iTunes store. Basically, iTunes 7.6 has rendered the iTunes Music Store unuseable. I doubt that was Apple's intention. All my other streaming apps work just fine, only the iTunes store is inop. So I wonder if my speed is too slow?

Apple has no solution to this problem, based on my e-mail response from tech support. They are pretty clueless. I wonder what this is costing the iTunes music store. I would roll back to my earlier iTunes if possible, since I can't use the music store anymore. Apparently, such a rollback is impossible.

Same problem here in Euless, Tx (suburb DFW). Started to buy movie last night. Estimated download 36 hours. Stopped & started the download several times, but to no avail. Now, almost 24 hrs later the movie is half the way downloaded! I have checked my Time Warner cable speed & get pings from west & east coast from 4.8 to 6.0 mbps. I can normally download movies from ITunes in 15 to 20 minutes. Downloads from other sites are normal. What gives?!

I installed 7.6 on my laptop and I'm having the same problem. But I didn't install it on my tower PC (it has some version of 7.5 on it), and it's having the same problems (and it worked just fine until two days ago... 1/30). So whatever's happened is affecting all of itunes, and it might not do any good to be able to reinstall 7.5. Of course, I've called up a couple of friends, both of whom upgraded to 7.5, and they're having no problems. What gives?

I was using 7.5 and was having these slow problems, so I upgraded to 7.6 and it did not fix it. I have a feeling it is a server issue, not something with the client.

I am also experiencing the same issues with iTunes. It keeps trying to rebuffer the stream with songs or videos. I am using iTunes 7.6 (29) with Mac OSX 10.5.1. I also have a windows machine with iTunes 7.5 loaded and it now does the same thing. I have tried taking both systems off the wireless router and plugging directly into the broadband router and still get the same problems. I have noticed that most all of these threads are from users in Texas. Is everyone using Time Warner Roadrunner? Just curious if this could be an ISP problem.
