can i use this webcam with iChat?

i bought a Frisby WebCam EVA that i was told would work with iChat. i downloaded the driver and it does work on my mac, but not with iChat (so far). i looked in iChat Help and it said in order to video chat i would need an iSight or another FireWire camera. this webcam is NOT firewire... so i'm confused how other people got it to work with ichat if you can't connect thru usb.
(this webcam also supposedly has an internal mic, but i haven't been able to get that to work either...)
any ideas?

Go to www.ecamm.com & download the Free 7 Day Trial of IUSB Chat. This will allow IChat to recognize it. If your happy with how it works, you can buy it when your Trial is up for $9.95 (US).

i did eventually find out that i needed this...
however, now i have more questions! 
i also discovered that the built-in mic doesn't work. is there something i can download to make that work??? also, i can't get the webcam to work with photo booth. any ideas? thanks!

I just posted somewhere else about this same problem. I bought the same camera and I had already downloaded the software to get the camera to work, but I cannot get the mic to work. I even went out and bought a separate mic and I can't get that one to work either. Let me know if you get yours to work.

this whole webcam thing for a mac is really getting on my nerves! i didn't want to spend a lot, so i searched for something that had what i needed (or so i thought) and bought that.
a couple weeks ago i did some searching about the mic... i think the solution was to buy iMic and then the internal mic should work thru that connection... but i'm not entirely sure... i'll let you know what i find out.
i'm just afraid that i'm going to spend all this money to keep buying things that will make this webcam work... and maybe i should've just splurged and bought an iSight! (i can't believe mac doesn't even sell an external webcam anymore. it's ridiculous!) shrug
well, good luck to you! let me know if you find anything out in the meantime.
