Ok, i came here to find help about my ipod that got washed with my laundry. It has been sitting in a bag of rice for nearly a month now and i totally miss my ipod. I tried to reset it today and to plug it into my computer and wall but nothing happened. I dont really have any money to fix it and i really have a major attachment to it. I need help fast. Any ideas?

Um, why exactly has it been sitting in a bag of rice for nearly a month?
If it went through the laundry, I think you're screwed. If you spilled water onto your iPod or accidentally dropped it into a puddle or something, then it would be most likely possible to have it in working order after allowing it to dry. But I highly doubt you're gonna have much luck after it being washed.
My thoughts? Its not worth the money to get it repaired anyway, its more worth it just to get a new one.

5 to 7 days would have been fine.
Connect it to your wall charger and leave it alone for at least 30 minutes. While it is still connected to the charger, Reset it (turn the hold button off no orange showing and hold down the menu and center buttons for 6 seconds). You may have to repeat the reset several times. When it comes to life, connect it to your computer, Restore it, resync it and then fully charge it.

Since it is water damage it won't be under warranty and I don't know if they will do anything for you.
You can send it to http://www.iresq.com and for $9 they will diagnose it and give you an estimate on a cost to fix it. Or Google for other 3rd party iPod repair facilities.

ok, i got curious today and decided to plug the ipod into my computer. it recognized it but it said that itunes could not recognize it at this time. also, this morning i plugged it in and the screen lit up (still blank) and it beeped at me. should i really spend the nine bucks to get it checked out or should i forget it?

If you think you want to continue to use it, and don't mind spending money to do so, send it in.
If you are really more interested in a new one, sell it for parts on ebay or craigslist.

If you like it that much send it in. If the cost is too high to fix it then pay the $9 then sell it.

My iPod was in my pack and my water bottle leaked on it. It is completely dead even when I plug it into the computer. But when I use the electrical wall recharger the iPod comes on and I can play music and do everything with it. Once I unplug it from the wall it immediately fades to black. Any idea what is wrong? Is it repairable?

"Any idea what is wrong?"
Probably your battery is dead.
