Is .mac / mobile me FILTERING Vonage .wav attachments

For the last two days I've not been receiving the Vonage .wav attachments in my .mac (mobileme) email. Vonage voicemail email is received but the .wav attachment is missing. This is the audio file that allows you to listen to your voicemail via your web browser (also on your iphone).
I have my emails forwarded from my email server to .mac so that they are agregated in one place.
Because of this I can see that before being forwarded to .mac the .wav attachments are there. In fact I can forward the same email from my email server via the web interface to my .mac account and because it's not coming from (12345551212@vm.vonage.com) the attachment arrives.
IS APPLE FILTERING OUR EMAIL CONTENT BASED ON WHO IS SENDING IT ?
Looks like it to me! I'm ****** if this is what is going on and I hope others find this unacceptable.
Of course there could be some other explanation for this and as long as there is a simple fix
I'll shut up and go back to work.
Any help on resolving this from atech genius would be much appreciated. If it's Apple doing this
I appeal to the community to bite the apple.

So I use vonage for home phone service. I get my voice mails sent to me via my gmail account. I've set up my account on my iphone and was getting my voice mails sent to me as a WAV attachment.
In my vonage account, I added a second email address for voice mail notification (my wife) and suddenly my iPhone is stripping the WAV attachment from the email. If I go directly to gmail, the attachment is there. I tried going back to only having my email be notified thinking it may have had a problem with multiple recepients, but the attachment is still being stripped.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Same problem here. I thought maybe I had made an incorrect setting on one of my machines, and was about to start looking through them all. That would mean comparing settings on 7 computers and an iPod Touch, counting all my personal and business Macs that access my .Mac/MobileMe.
I'm not really sure how/why there would be any filtering happening. Maybe something unintentional. When I login to me.com and check my mail there, the attachment is there, and I can listen to it just fine.
Like mentioned above, this has worked fine for many months and has only in the past few days stopped working.

I have the same problem, but am using a POP server account and the Mail program that comes with the MacBook, not Entourage. I'm able to view the attachments through webmail, but not in the Mail program. I never had an issue like this on my PC. I'm hoping I won't regret switching to a Mac, but I'm starting to wonder.
Any help available out there?

If anyone out there has heard any more about this, I am now having this problem as well. I wasn't having this problem until just in the past couple of weeks. What's also odd, is that when I look at my list of messages in Mail.app, it does show a message with an attachment. Then when I open the message, it shows no attachment.

All I can add is "me too". It started this week sometime. Using my own POP account, not .mac/.me.
If I look at messages from before it stopped working, the .wav attachments show up and play fine.
My guess is Vonage changed something in how they build MIME attachments and Mail.app doesn't like it.

Here's the Vonage change that breaks it - they changed from "multipart/mixed" in the MIME type to "multipart/related".
Old message that displays correctly:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="===============0912282196043160086=="
MIME-Version: 1.0
New message that does not:
Content-Type: multipart/related;
boundary="===============1965250586297430923=="
MIME-Version: 1.0
Probably not Vonage's fault, I don't think the new type is "wrong".

I am also having this problem. You can at least download the attached .wav file from the mobileme web client at me.com, but the player doesn't show in the message.
The attached file doesn't show up in Mail or on my iphone. This is a really annoying problem.

Same problem, weird thing is, if I access via Mobile Me website, attach still shows. In Mail there is no sign of attachment. On my iPhone, attachment paperclip is there, but no file to play.

I have opened a ticket with Vonage, but I don't know if that will do any good. This is not really a .mac/.me thing, it's Mail.app (and other clients) being picky about attachments.
I spoke with a programmer friend who just happens to deal with attaching crap to email messages for a living and he said that while Vonage's changes "may" work, they are using the wrong MIME type for the message. Probably an example of "fixing" something broken in Outlook or some other mail cient by bending the rules...
Apple of course could also work around this. Technically they could allow Mail.app to show this attachment.

Apple is not following the RFC for multipart/related found here ( http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2387.txt ).
The main thing here, is Vonage's wav attachments show up correctly in gmail, mobile me (web mail) and yahoo web mail. Along with 2 other web mail clients I have tried. The mail isn't filtered because if you look at the raw email the data is there and it's correct, however it's just not rendering correctly in the email view. I have have started a discussion here (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8356144#8356144) as well, since this isn't a .mac thing or an imap vs. pop problem. The problem is in Apple's Mail.app client.
I've submitted bugs for Mail.app in Leopard and the iPhone in reference to the rfc to multipart/related.

I'm glad it has been changed back to the old way...but are we missing other attachments that are formatted the way vonage started to format them?

Yes. That is really annoying. Hopefully Mail will be updated so that it can read those attachments directly. In the meantime, you can to to File->Save Attachments... and then open the .wav file in iTunes or Quicktime to play it.
