My iPhone syncs but I can't get to the Activation screen.

I'm getting the same problem. It went directly to syncing my contacts and music and I can't go back and activate my phone!

lame. I restored the iphone to it's factory settings and when it completed, it went right to the section about synching my music and contacts again. It's just not displaying the ATT activation screen.

My iPhone say's
"Waiting for AT&T activation"
"This may take some time"
I thought activation started from iTunes not the iphone.
To get to activation on phone i reset the iphone
press the power and home button for 10 secs

In your iTunes, go to the Help, and About iTunes section.
What is the version number in the first line of scrolling text?

I'm having the same problem. AT&T was no Help. Restore returned to the same screen which started syncing. Not Activation. Running 7.3 (54).
Powermac Quad 2.5 GHz, 3GB Ram, 7800GT Mac OS X (10.4.6)

I am having this problem as well and I set the times to be the same and tried all other suggestions I saw on here. Anyone solve this problem yet?

I am having this problem too. I have tried restoring the iPhone and using 2 different computers with the same result.... goes right to the syncing process and never the activation screen.
I called AT&T about this and supposedly they have a "team of people" working on this for me. However, they told me to call back in a few hours or tomorrow to see what they are doing for a resolution... Not too happy right now!

I am as well having the same problem - I am curious what verions of OS's are you all using? Im using Windows Vista.
I plugged it in, and it just gave me sync options - whats strange is after I closed itunes out of options, to see what was going on to replug it in, it doesnt even see my iphone now in itunes - it just sits there, but i hear the audible alert that it was plugged in from the computer, and the phone. I also tried uninstalling the USB driver in the device manager, and reinstall it - and that just reinstalls the driver, and i get the 2 audibles from the phone and computer - but again, it doesnt see the iphone.
So what the **** is going on? grr..

sorry just noticed it shows os's on our tags. hehe - Well i seem to be the only vista so far, but alot of XPs and Macs witht he same issue. Doesnt seem to be OS related..
please help. Its 11PM and I can't even call AT&T as they are closed, and only allow emergencys. I want to use my phone, and im very dissapointed with all of this so far.
