For those not getting the Activation Window in iTunes at all...I finally

I went to the AT&T store as suggested in another thread by someone and got them to pop a new sim in it. Now, I am not sure if the guy left the sim in it, I like to think he did but he may have switched it back.. I know that is a big detail but that is all I have right now.

Anyway, he turned the phone on and it said to connect to iTunes to activate/invalid sim card.

Went home.

Plugged into iMac. Activation Welcome screen finally appeared and 5 minutes later I was talking on the phone (the phone is my friends).

So, the sim card trick works because before, all we could get was the phone wanting to mount like an iPod. Frustrating, but glad it is over.
