iPod stops randomly

Anyone else have a problem with the iPod feature when using Safari or Google Maps? Mine will just stop playing occasionally. Am I overloading the device?

Happened to me as well when surfing with Safari, a song stopped playing about halfway.

This sounded like interference. I have 2nd Gen ipod. The ipod will stop randomly when my GSM phone is on the data network, ie, when I am browsing. I also hear buzzing sound in speakers and headphones.
If this is true, this is a serious problem.

it happened to me as well. I shut down the iPhone and restart it, the problem went away. I have no problem now.

It's equivalent to the ipod application crashing. Sometimes, it's the safari browser that will quit while you're listening to music.

I don't think it is Safari/Network related. I've had this happen while in NotePad and while doing nothing but sitting in CoverFlow. Seems more like an iPod crash.

Happened to me within 10 minutes while playing with one in the Apple store. While loading a Google map the music track playing in the background just went silent. I thought it was curious, but wasn't too surprised. A few moments more into Google-mapping and the screen went blank and the whole phone rebooted.

I wrote this from my iPhone while listening podcast. iPod stopped playing 5 times and Safari shut down once.....
Does anyone know if Apple says anything about these error?
I hope these are fixable via software update.
Resetting did not help at all...
