AT LEAST TWO SOFTWARE FEATURE CHANGES IN UPDATE

The two FEATURE UPDATES that I notice are:
There is now a BCC OPTION in MAIL SETTINGS to send yourself a copy rather than before when it was just CC only.
PASSCODE LOCK now offers up to 1 HOUR to request the PASSWORD where before it was only IMMEDIATELY or 1 minute.
I am wondering if CALENDAR ALERTS was an old FEATURE or if that is also new. Either way, the top two are definitely new.
Don't know why neither of these feature updates is listed in any of the documentation but it's definitely new.

Under network settings, it looks like they moved the 'forget this network' button from the bottom of the screen to the top -- unless my memory is playing tricks on me.

Also, at the bottom of your contacts, it will no longer tell you how many you have.

I just came across something in the new manual..... your computer can now backup your text message conversations, call history, etc. i guess this means that we can save our texts to the computer but still delete it from our iPhones.

Actually, I have seen this issue reported in other forums. It seems to be specific to only certain users. I still have the number of contacts at the bottom of the scroll. Some were reporting that they had to delete a contact and then add a contact and the number would reappear. I didn't have to do this myself.

i think the reason apple didnt name these in the documentation is because they consider all of these little things bugs in the software that they think they could do without.

I too had to add a temprary contact then delete it for the # of contacts to show at the bottom. Was easy to do though, thanks for the tip.

Mine didn't show up either. But when I touched the "#" it showed up. So I am not sure if you have to create a temporary contact for the total to show up.

bnbzone,
It might take you a few days to go through the whopping 124 pg manual but I'll save you some time and tell you to check out Page 100

Actually you can. The only time I could get a contact count (in the old software) was to go back and forth from groups to all contacts. When I did that the number shows up. Same with the new software.
