Love my iPhone...but I cannot believe the complexity in this bill. Every call, every text message. Wow. Oh well, just had to vent a little.
My bill was $343 for Family Talk 3000 mins plan with 3 lines.

for that amount you went over

be glad to see the minutes and know who to blame

could be transfer charges or something but your bill should not be that high

The amount was okay and correct...but I was just surprised at the length of the document. We actually had 700 mins rollover. Went over b/c of $20 in 411 calls, $25 in music my son downloaded, and 3 activation fees, etc

My bill with unlimited texting on 2 phones would by arond $250 normally, which is okay. I am a heavy mins user.

Again, love the iPhone. Not so crazy about the billing document.

I finally agree with a negative comment about AT&T... their bills are HORRIBLE. After defending them in many threads, this is one I cannot! I do wish they would get a simplified bill, but I'm sure there are those that like the explicit details!

You can never please everyone on every issue. That will never change.

It's just amazing. On the one hand you have the most elegant, best designed, artistic, and SIMPLE iPhone. On the other hand, you have a 1/2 inch stack of paper that looks like phone bills did in the 1970s. It's just an amazing contrast! I laughed when I opened the bill.

AT&T could use some of the KISS advice. Keep it Simple Stupid.

Can you get on line billing... it looks like with your usage you may be able to save a tree or two!

or 3 or 4 trees! I am calling tomorrow to get something other than what i got in the mail today!

Does everyone get every call, every txt msg, every download? I guess someone wants that detail. Not me.

You can choose the paperless billing method. Then you just see your bill online. I wish with all the going "Green" that companies are doing that they would offer a discount if you choose to go paperless.

The pointless thing is the Edge breakdown. We have UNLIMITED, I don't care to see when I accessed it. Now it should be available online. The calls and texts can be good for making sure nothing odd is going on but thats only if you need to look at it closely or use it as evidence for the police.

Most do. Or rather, they've started charging an extra amount for the privilege of a paper bill. It saves telecoms about $1 per bill.

"Paperless billing saved the telecommunications company 409 tons of paper in 2006, which is the equivalent of 6,371 trees." - from an article search

Detailed billing is an optional feature with ATT. It does not cost any more to get the details, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Call AT&T and ask them to change the bill from detailed billing.

I think if you change from detailed billing, you will loose the detailed billing on the calls your make or get. I don't think you can do it just for data or text.
