I share some folders for Mac computer on a windows server(windows 2003). When mac user save files on it , we can see a lot of hidden files like ._r64.jpg or folders like _MACOSX , many of them can not be deleted , even the local administrator of the windows server .
Who can tell me how can I clean them?

These are known as "double apple" files. For OS X they hold metadata and resource fork information (thinks like thumbnail's and custom icons).
See: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106510
There should not be a problem deleting them as long as the user has delete permissions though.

I'm having a similar issue- Is there a way so that the PC users don't see these hidden files at all. I have a user that copies files out to an Win2000 server volume from a mac. When the files are copied over to the PC share ( even ZIPED ) the hidden files are visible. Any way so that the "hidden" files stay hidden.
Thanks,
rick
