I keep getting this error when trying to purchase 5 albums off the latest version of Itunes (7.4.0.28). It's been saying this for about 7-8 hours now.
Does anyone have any answers or helpful suggestions?
I'm have a Windows XP SP2.
Appreciate any help.

I'm having same issue. I was on early version and I think that was the issue but when upgrade to latest one still having same issue.
Funny thing is that I purchase the album and I receive the receipt of my purchase but can't Check for Purchase to download items. They can take my money but can provide the songs.
Is nothing related to my computer, I'm sure about that. They're having some kind of issue they still looking on. That's why they didn't said anything yet.

Same issue here - are others having this problem?

I am having the same issues - started for me late last night. I have 36 files to download and NO way to get at them. All other store functions seem to work.....

I'm having this same issue right now. It started a couple hours ago. I've got a few songs waiting. :'(

Same problem here. I purchased 40 songs this morning and have yet to download any of them. I've got iTunes 7.4.1.2. Been getting the message since around 9:30AM today. I sent a message to suport and via the "Report a problem" link from my iTunes Store receipt.

Me too. Its now 3:30 pm EST and no news. Does anyone from Apple monitor this thing? I too have sent emails and error reports but this is a long enough outage that it deserves some recognition and a fix. Especially because this music is bought and paid for!!!

Apple responded with canned text and no acknowledgement that they are experiencing any issues on their end. shoddy customer experience so far...
