Cover art is displaying when in crashed before.

Just downloaded it. Cover Flow seems to be more responsive AND keeps the covers in use rather than just displaying the music note when scrolling fast.

It DIDN'T fix the Compilations issue (displaying all Compilation artists all the time).
It DIDN'T fix the 'P' showing when syncing when the Time is set to display in the header.

Didn't fix the skin sensitivity issue.
Didn't fix the RDS (Radio Remote) data clearing out problem

Scrolling thorugh the Albums with the art seems more responsive as well, though scrolling real fast can cause a momentary lapse in Album Art display.
They've been definitely working on the GUI/responsiveness. Cover Flow is a big deal and displayed prominently in the advertising so somebody in R&D probably said: "MAKE IT WORK".

My iTunes says 7.1.4.2 That was a pretty fast fix.
Connect the iPod Classic and click on the "Check For Update" box. I just did it for fun not expecting (but hoping for) and update and "Bingo!" a new update.

Still dosen't address that fact that cover flow should be organized by album, not artist.

Just updated. The wheel seems more sensitive and most of the interface is just plain snappier. The audio quality may be a little different. I am not sure but 3D imaging may have improved. Unfortunately there is still a treble boost though.

Not that familiar with coverflow, but does it make a difference how it is sorted on you computer. Mine didn't work properly on my computer until I sorted on album, then everything worked out fine.

Will trying the new 1.0.1 firmware to fix the lag problems etc change the 14 refund policy? I wasn't sure from reading the terms...I'm not a lawyer so don't fully understand EULA speak

I was having a problem with coverflow on my Mac. I got muliple album covers for the same artist and songs on the album. Being new to the Mac world I didn't pick up on the fact that if the songs were sorted on the album column rather than artist I would get the desired results. I resynced my iPod and everything is good.
