How do I find ungrouped Contacts?

I have each of my Contacts in one of various groups ... at least I think I do. Is there some way to find if any of my contacts is inadvertently not assigned to any group?

You could first check if the total number of contacts you have is equal to the sum of the contacts in each group. If so and assuming you have not assigned a contact to more than one group, then you are fine. Then you could print your entire list and check against each group - tedious but will do the trick.
hope this helps

You could write an Applescript, but it would probably take longer than just doing this:
Select the "All" group and click on the first contact. Now, hold down the option key and go through each contact one-by-one with the arrow keys. If a group doesn't highlight, then the contact isn't assigned to a group.

Roger Barre,
Your best way to fine the ungrouped contacts is to create a new "Smart Group."
Step 1: Create a new "Smart Group" by either choosing "File" and "New Smart Group," or press and hold the "Option" key and the click on the plus sign on the bottom left corner.
Step 2: Name your new "Smart Group."
Step 3: Under "Contains cards which match the following:" choose "Card" and then "Is not member of" and then "any group."
Step 3: Click "OK."
Then you can just go to that smart group to view the ungrouped contacts.

Of course! Create a new smart group, and the one condition will be "Card ... Is not .... member of ... any group". It will populate with all cards that are not a member of any group.
