iTunes 7.6 No Audio When Playing a Music Video or Movie

I just installed iTunes 7.6.0.29 (It was released today).
There is no audio when playing a music video or a movie that I've purchased. Movie trailers and music videos in the iTunes store have no audio either. Videos from iTunes University that I've downloaded (such as an MIT lecture) play fine w/ audio.
Music audio (such as tracks I've purchased or tracks on the iTunes store) play fine.
QuickTime videos, such as a QT video on my desktop play fine. Windows Media Player works fine too.
So, why don't music videos and movies play (w/audio) on iTunes 7.6??

So just to clarify, it's only the video files you have purchased from the iTunes store that are playing without audio in iTunes?

Music videos that I have purchased have NO audio.
Movies have NO audio.
Movie trailers (i.e previews) in the iTunes store have NO audio.
Music video previews in the iTunes store have NO audio.
All my music play fine. Quick time (v 7.4) video files on my desktop play fine. MediaPlayer works.
What's up?? It all worked perfectly yesterday with iTunes 7.5!

I am also experiencing the same issue and I am quite upset that videos I have purchased I can't hear anymore. Please fix this soon.

I'm experiencing what appears to be the exact same issue. I just installed iTunes 7.6.
Video but no audio:
Purchased iTunes TV episodes
Streamed video trailers in the iTunes Store
Works fine:
All music files, including protected files purchased through iTunes
The standalone Quicktime player performs normally with MOV files. Windows Media Player still performs normally.
I found an old support doc complaining of a similar issue with a previous iTunes release and tried the suggested fix: Uninstalling Quicktime and reinstalling it using the standalone installer (Quicktime 7.4). I also reinstalled iTunes. Neither solved the issue.
I'm very disappointed that I can no longer access the files I've purchased. I hope this is fixed very soon.

Same here... no audio when playing music videos or TV shows. Music files play fine.
I've also noticed one other quirk since installing iTunes 7.6... MS Outlook 2003 won't shutdown I have to open the task manager and kill the process to close Outlook. Everything was working fine prior to installing iTunes 7.6.

Just to keep the theme going, I too am having the EXACT same problem. I tested everything else and all audio and non-purchased video works as described by others in this post.
Another problem I noticed since the install is that when the purchased video starts to play it stalls out after a few seconds, then later it picks up the video at the point in time it should be at--you miss all the video during that time that it stalled. I don't know if this is related, but it started after install of 7.6.
Any ideas?

I'm also experiencing this problem. This is a real pain because I've wasted a lot of time trying to get things to work. Hope someone at Apple is watching the forums and can resolve this problem.

FWIW, I'm having the same problem. Video podcasts seem to playback ok, though.

I hadn't thought of checking video podcasts -- they appear to play fine, with audio. It appears only the protected MPEG-4 files play without audio.

I am having the same problem. Really irritating. Only one music video of mine that I downloaded from itunes works. It's strange because I downloaded it from itunes but it came with no mpeg4 protection. I'm assuming its all the video files with mpeg4 protection. I hope a fix comes out soon.

I am having the same problem. I tried re-running the install and using the "repair" option but still no audio from any itunes purchased videos. My entire itunes video library has been rendered useless and still no fix.
