HD Movies on itunes

The ads for the new HD movie rental serves that itunes is providing, said that you can watch the movies either on my TV or on the computer, now I find out that we can't watch HD movies on our HD Cinema displays. What is going on? Who do I complain to?

The movie studios require HD protection and HDMI-enabled technology. Only the Apple TV provides that. Apple has no control over this. Complain to the movie studios all you want, but you won't get anywhere. Too much piracy is the main cause.
