Has anyone resolved this?
Every time I connect itouch, I get the same "January Upgrade" offer.
I click "No Thanks" and an the following message keeps coming up: "an error occurred the itunes store could not process your request".
So frustrating!

I have the same problem. Seems they are happy to talk when I give them money but not when I decline their generous update offer. Strange!

Having same problem. After I click "No Thanks" I'm sent to the Apple Store. Won't show me my normal onscreen interface where I can manage my iTouch.

This makes iTouch unusable. One more message and I'm getting a refund. Seriously. This is my 2nd iTouch in 7 weeks and this one is having problems, with the touch screen. Fairly basic requirement methinks. Constant reminders for SP2 'applications'? fugetaboutit. I want to USE my iPod.
One more reminder and Im getting a refund. I'm p!ssed about this. perhaps its working in IT that does it, but please don't take your customers for mugs apple, we're here because we want a different approach, not M$ customer service level SP2.

Im having the same problem. Since upgrading to 10.5.2, it still goes to itunes after pressing no thank you. You just have to press the "x" on the top before the store loads up.

I missed 2 hours work this morning trying to sync my Ipod. I can't and I can't get rid of the Jan software update advert. My Ipod is USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried ringing Apple on a premium phone line and waited in a queue for 30 minutes and gave up.

I have a quick fix for those who are not able to add to playlists and sync their ipods. (Only for those who manually sync theirs)On iTunes go up to the file tab at the top of the screen, and select Sync "whatever you iPods name is" and it should transfer any of the tracks, podcasts, movies, audiobooks etc. you have checked onto your iPOd.Just make sure before you do this that all your files you want transfered are checked and ready to be synced and the one you dont are unchecked. Hope this helps some people.
