I thought a lot of people said that Safari 3.1 was gonna be crazy on speed but how come it takes me 40 seconds to fully load 14 websites on Safari 3.1 (525.13)Beta and it take me 28 seconds to fully load 14 websites on Firefox 3 Beta 4?
The following websites were
Myspace
Youtube
ESPN
Fox Sports
Chicago Bears
Chicago Bulls
Chicago White Sox
BoxRec
Yahoo
Apple
Cnet
Engadget
Firefox
EdLine
Emachines T2958
80GB 512MB RAM 64MB Graphics Card Intel Celeron D 2.66GHz

Because you're using a Windows?
MacBook Pro CoreDuo 2Ghz
Mac OS X (10.5.2)
Mostly standard, now with 2Gb of Crucial RAM.

Overall, for Windows, the latest nightly trunk of Firefox 3 is much faster than any Safari, and any other currently developed browser for that matter. Safari excels at doing only one thing at a time, but when given everyday use with several tabs it feels much slower and more memory intensive.
I'm extremely impressed with the progress Mozilla are making with Gecko 1.9, and unless a good Webkit browser comes out for Windows, everyone will stick with the next Firefox. Why are there no other WebKit browsers for Windows - is it prohibited? I know that Swift uses QtWebKit, but it's a useless browser in its current form.

Just to update, the 2008-03-08-06-trunk is the fastest so far, not the latest. I have too much time on my hands lately!
