Backup Wiki content with Time Machine?
Posted: Mar 29, 2008 6:37 PM

Hi,

Forgive me if this question has been answered.

A few months ago I set up a mac mini with Leopard Server 10.5.1 to store study notes for a September exam on the Apple Wiki Server. (I haven't any server admin experience, so getting DNS/Open Directory working without a DNS server at home was not much fun). I enabled Time Machine during the setup assistant but I would like to confirm whether it will backup the wiki settings/content.

If the worst should happen and the macmini HD die, could I just swap out the HD, and restore the server, including all the server settings and wiki content using Time Machine? Or would I be up a certain creek without a certain instrument?

Thanks in advance,

David

P.S. Now that it's working I'm scared to upgrade to 10.5.2. Any advice?

David
