All of my contacts just went BLANK!!

All of the contact information on my iphone just vanished! Names appear in contact list, but no picture, email, phone number, etc... Also, my favorite list only shows the phone numbers, not the contact name. If a known number calls, the phone number and not the name appear.
Haven't synced with iTunes today. I have phone set to manually sync with MobileME every thirty minutes (which I suspect is the problem).
Checked the online mobileme address book, and my computer - not problems there. Phone is 3G. No new apps. Was working fine all morning.
Thoughts????

I don't have any constructive advice about how to fix this, but I just want to say: THE SAME THING HAS JUST HAPPENED TO ME!

Same problem, mine started this past Saturday, so i could see contact info. I turned off mobile me contact sync. Restarted mobile me contact sync this morning. Same problem. Contact name present, notes for contact present. Phone numbers and address are not. I shut off Mobile Me sync again for contacts, re-synced with I-tunes, all is good. All info does show up in me.com for contacts just pushes bad info to phone, I cant find anything in mobile me support. called apple care cant help, directed me to mobile me support, who is not available via chat or phone call.
Anyone have any ideas??

This just happened to me too - was fine all weekend. All my contacts just disappeared right from the phone as I was using it!!!
I turned contact sync off adn back on, no change
I deleted MobileMe account from 'phone and replaced, no change
W T F Apple ?????

I just had a very similar problem - same problem in fact, however I also lost groups entirely: the contacts within no longer show up anywhere on my iphone, though they are still present (details and everything) on my computer address book (thank god).
950 contacts in total. I really hope this works itself out somehow.
Apple, I'm sure will rectify. I've only had my iphone for two days now, and there's a peculiar sour taste all of a sudden. Hope it goes away!

I hope it goes away, too. Had my iPhone a couple of weeks, and just about every day there is an issue of some sort with its syncing.
Maybe it doesn't sync at all.
Or it does so only partially.
Or (and this is the killer) it does it perfectly, thereby suggesting that all might in fact be well, when in fact success is only a temporary state of affairs.
Every good day with this phone is followed by a bad one. Today is a bad one.

Happening to me too. I'll lose all contacts on iPhone, then get them all without their info, then lose them all again.
It was working up until about 1pm EST on 7/28.
anybody else?

I just had the same thing happen to me. All my contacts disappeared from my phone. Everything is still on my mac and on MobileMe but my phone lost all contact info. A few minutes later names came back but no contact info for the contacts just birthdays, no numbers. First issues I have had with my phone. Hope they fix it soon.

not sure if anyone esle had it happen like it happened to me - but i think it happened when i double clicked the home button - trying to use that shortcut to favorites. this has gotta get sorted. my computer & me.com are cool but no names in SMS and no data inside individual contacts. get it sorted!!!

I only have names. No numbers, no emails, no addresses.Nothing.
MobileMe better NOT have done this to my address book on my MacBook Pro!

Original iPhone, and i'm in the same boat. To all of you 3Grs, this must be a MobileMe issue. It has a glitch causing this to happen to all contacts. Apple, get to work! This *****.

it doesnt seem to be affecting the address book locally on my Macbook or the web-based MobileMe me.com address book.

Well, this has just happened to me here too at 2:00 pm CENTRAL. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH APPLE AND THIS ISSUE?????? How am I supposed to work if my contacts just VANISHED??? This has GOT to get fixed quickly. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
