No WIFI After 2.0.1 Updates

First, after the 2.0.1 update installed, my itunes would not recognize my iphone so I restored it to original settings. Then, 2.0.1 was successfully installed and itunes identified my phone but my WIFI is now greyed out and not working. Please advise!
To clarify: It reads "No Wi-Fi" in the Wi-Fi tab of the settings menu. And yes, I'm in an area where I use to receive at least 5 wifi signals.

What exactly is "greyed out"? In Settings, when Wi-Fi is off, the switch appears grey. If you touch it, it goes to On - blue.

Same problem here... cannot get back on WiFi--- it show up in available networks, but the iPhone will not connect to it. If I switch Airplane mode on and off, it will then join the Wifi for about 1 sec, then returns to Edge!

No WiFi problems here with the 2.0.1 update. I get much faster wireless with the iPhone 3G. WiFi reception seems the same under 2.0.1, but no problems at all receiving a signal.

In settings, by the Wi-Fi tab, is says "No Wi-Fi" and there is no option to turn it on or off.

No problem with Wi-FI on 2.01 here either. What you see is typical of poor Wi-Fi signal. Also, some routers are finicky about secure connection. I had the same situation with 2.0.

"No-Wi-Fi" is what you see if there is no Wi-Fi signal. Assuming there is a signal where you are, the 2.01 update went bad. Re-install it.

Have you gone to Settings > Reset and tried resetting network settings? I have found that helpful in the past.

I had this same issue with 2.0.0. All of a sudden the place where you select a wifi network was disabled (greyed out) and said No Wifi. There was also no way to turn wifi on or off. I ended up resetting the phone and it came back on. No problems since then.

I have restored it twice now.
Maybe 3 time's a charm. If not, take it to Apple Genius for service.

No problems here. Out of curiosity, did you guys jailbreak or unlock your phones before the firmware update?
