Updated to osx 10.5.5....now all my photos shows in magenta !

As the header tells....serious problem after updating mac osx to version 10.5.5. Old thumbnails looks fine, but in viewer and on the second screen, the photos shows up in Magenta/pink.
New photos imported, both thumbnails and viewer in magenta.....
What is going on ?
Imac 20" Intel 2,19 ghz core 2 duo, 2gb ram, X1600 128mb ram

Staxrod,
I just experienced the same problem.
I did install the RAW update this morning and I'm going through some photos, the one I'm reviewing suddenly turns magenta pink like you describe.
This is really scaring me.
I have the impression it only does it with the picture that is currently being viewed, and with no way to get it back to normal, I'm hesitant to go through my library.
However I have a deadline later today, and can't give my client pink photos.
I did try to change the raw fine tuning to an older version, thinking that aperture might re-interpret the raw data, but it stays pink, no matter what I try.
If anybody has experienced this before and has a solution, I would love to hear it.
I'll also file a bug report, as this is clearly no user-error, but with the responsivness apple has showed for this application, I don't think they will save my deadline...

Staxrod,
are you sure it was after 10.5.5 ?
I'm only seeing this problem after the raw update from this morning.
I am seeing more and more images turn magenta, so I had to quit Aperture.
I have the impression that the files that are turning pink are all files I have edited before with Capture NX.

Well, i updated to 10.5.5 and got the raw-update in the same time, so cant decide if its raw-update or 10.5.5.

I did 10.5.5 update on my MacBook with no ill effects on my photos.
However, after updating the RAW Update to 2.2 on the MacBook, then I got the magenta colors. Happens only to RAW files on Aperture 2.1.1 and iPhoto 7.1.4. JPEGs are unaffected.
I only did the 10.5.5 update on my iMac, and the RAW processing is normal.
I've been in touch with Apple and have sent them the RAW file, and resulting JPEGs from each application with the magenta color.

This seems to be some sort of graphics card driver problem introduced with 10.5.5. Here's a thread on the Elgato forum where people are seeing the same thing with video playback.
Elgato forum - green/pink images
It mentions a method for disabling OpenGL, which helps with the problem, but I'm not sure that would be viable for Aperture.

By the way, I opened the RAW file using the Sony Image Data Convertor v3 application and the image looks normal. Don't see how this could be a Open GL / video card issue!?

Oh no! I open my project of infrared photographs and as I click on a thumbnail, they now have a new pinkish tint. In the last couple of days I updated to 10.5.5 and the new camera raw updater. Don't know which is the culprit. Serious problem here.

Pistol - your issue sounds like it isn't an issue with your files - Sony Image Datas Converter is using its own raw decode software. Apple apps use a different one ( its in the system folder ). They are processed differently, so they can ( and are ) looking different.

I'm shooting with an A700, and i also have teh same magenta problems post update.
any solution to get back to normal here? i need a solution fast

Clem,
I am opening files shot with a D200 converted to infrared. I need to explore deeper to see if my other camera files have been affected.

Im using cRAW-files as i have been doing for a year now...
Just tried the raw-file...seems ok.....but dosnt help me as i have 30000 photos in craw....
