The new update "broke" my Apple TV

Most of files are WAV files. I am experiencing an excessive lag time (more than 30 seconds) when navigating the Apple TV menus. The lag time seems much less when I select an iTunes - purchased AAC file. Anyone else having this problem?

ditto... I downloaded the update, the Apple TV rebooted, played the opening video, but now the apple logo just flickers over and over. No response to diagnostics attempts.

I have the exact same problem as other people in the thread. I updated, it played the quick mosaic movie and then it just shows the apple logo and reboots every minute or so. I am bricked and extremely annoyed.

This is crazy. What happened? I havent used my ATV for a few weeks and needed to reconnect it to the internet. (not sure why) after which I get the apple logo then it appears to try and load the movie list briefly then right back to the apple logo. It is stuck in this endless cycle. Anyone find a solution?

Same here, the Apple logo keeps flashing. I hold the menu button, and then I get an error that says to push the play/pause button to restart Apple TV.... then it all starts over again.
