Something wrong with Mail today?

All my Send mails are hanging.......... is this happening to everybody?
I just get the spinning wheel next to the "Sending" - for very small files.
I tried quitting and sending it again, but it just seems to hang.

Having same problem here too. Getting tired of all the problems mobile me is having.

Same here. Can't send e-mail and yet, all mobile me services are getting the green light. Like this sunday when a lots of us had problems with mobile me and address book. Do they think that if they don't advise us their having problems we wont notice?

I guess it's not perfect, but the recurrence is getting tedious.

Ditto here. Can't send mail. I'm finally done! Back to blackberry. Between call failed on the iphone at least 20 times a day and MobileMe's botched implementation - I'm out! Call me crazy but you think Apple would actually want to resolve these issues. Adios guys.

Same problems here. I was told however that issues could have been raised by the switch over in time and that the switch could cause issues with MobileMe services.

I cannot believe this-- I came here to see if I was the only one. I just want to add my 2 cents.. I am having problems with mail too. This *****. Can't send mail.

My emails wont send either, but instead of hanging, it just says "cannot send email at this time, try again later". Then when if finally does send, it sends multiple copies. Will we ever get a working mobile me?

I am having the exact same problem and am on the phone with Apple to file a complaint, since according to Technical Support for the US at: 1-800-275-2273, there is no technical support available via phone for .mac members or mail!! ***!! I was then transferred to a Apple Customer Relations dept to file a complaint there was a 15 minutes wait..lol.. This is ridiculous. I run a business. I can't be dealing with this kind of glitch. Also, I have a Blackberry phone and I get my emails on the Blackberry, and then 20 mins. + later, I get it on my computer mac mail program. Was informed as soon as I got ahold of someone that Apple now has CHAT capabilities for technical support. Crosses fingers.

WOW, ever since MobileMe got up and running... This is my first major issue I guess... I can't send mail from my Mac or from Me.com... My wife is having the same issues. We can receive just fine, just can't send. MobileMe is showing a GREEN light on everything... Not being able to send email is NOT a GREEN light situation! I hope this is resolved sooner than later!

I'm having the same problems. Mobile Me is green but I am not able to receive mail either via Mail on my Mac or in Mobile Me mail online. Come on! This is taking far too long. I can send but the test posts do not arrive in the Inbox.

It appears to me that Apple just don't 'give a ****' what kind of problems we are experiencing, and their by-line seems to be 'try the Apple Discussion forums'.
Come on Apple, attend to the problems in a responsible manner before the Apple faithful desert you!!
My current problem is that I'm having to log in to MobilMe on a daily basis, rather than the usual 2 weeks. If anyone here has a clue as to why, your replies would be most welcome. In short: what am I doing wrong, or what am I not doing?

I have not been able to send or receive any .mac e-mail all day.
I thought it was me. Or maybe my OS 10.3.9 had become obsolete?
I will be updating to 10.4 soon and figured I would make any changes to ME at that time.
Seems others are having this same problem today. What does Apple have to say about it?

I'm a long time Mac user and .Mac user. Have been having all the problems discussed in these MobileMe Mail forums and now find emails disappearing into thin air when I try to save as a
draft. If Apple is not careful their reputation will be worse than Microsoft. For the first time, I'm
truly disappointed in Apple. Asked one of the guys at the Charlotte, NC Apple Store "Genius Bar" when
MobileMe Mail might start working right and he denied there was any problem. Suggested I schedule
an appointment and bring my computer in.
Sorry, just expressing my frustration with Apple

I got the same problem.
Before I came to here, I just wonder what's wrong with the China ISP or router. But now, at least I know it is more likely related to mobileme service.
my error message is "Cannot send message using the server smtp.mac.com"
Then, I tried gmail server. It work! This is $0 mail server. Come on Apple!
