After 8.0.2 update blue screen during reboot.

The topic says it all. While the update went fine on my MacBook Pro, after the reboot during the upgrade on my MacMini (Intel, OSX Leopard)all I get is a blue screen. I do see the desktop for a split second, but it goes to a blue screen right away. I've tried booting into safe mode and forcing an OSX boot with no luck.

Don't tell my to do an archive and re-install. I don't have the HDD space to do one. If I have to completely reinstall the OS and lose all of my Music and data then this will be the last Mac I purchase and I'll just move everything over to Ubuntu.

Yes, I am ******.

HI,

The hard disk needs a minimum of 15% of the total drive just to boot from. You have two Macs? Use Target Disk Mode to move files from the MBP to the Mini.
How to use Target Disk Mode

With Target Disk Mode you can move files off the MIni to the MBPro to free up drive space and that way your important files are backed up. Make sure and delete the original files on the Mini.

At this point, probably the best bet would be an Erase and Install:

Under some circumstances, you may need to reinstall Mac OS X. You can reinstall Mac OS X while keeping your files and user settings intact.

Insert the Mac OS X Install Disc and double-click the Install Mac OS X icon.
Follow the onscreen instructions. In the panel where you select the destination disk, select your current Mac OS X disk (in most cases, it will be the only one available).
Click Options. If you want to save your existing files, users, and network settings, select "Archive and Install," then select "Preserve Users and Network Settings." If you want to erase everything on your computer and reinstall Mac OS X, select "Erase and Install." You can't recover erased data.
Click Continue.
Click Customize to select which parts of Mac OS X you'd like to install, or click Install to perform a basic installation (recommended).
If you purchased a standalone version of Mac OS X, these installation instructions are in a booklet included with Mac OS X.

If you need to reinstall the version of Mac OS X that was on your computer when you purchased it, or if you need to restore all the software on your computer, including Apple, bundled third-party applications, and printer drivers, instructions are in the manual that came with your computer.

If you do this, when you are finished, launch Disk Utility from the Applications/Utilities folder and Repair Disk Permissions.

I have 40gigs free on the Mini, so that is not the issue. Oh well, thanks anyway.
