Hi
Can someone clear this up I have just received an email from Facebook telling me that the music or content is breaking the law as the pictures are mine that I created in Iphoto it can't be that. That only leaves the music that comes with Iphoto. Can anyone tell me if this music breaks any laws by uploading to facebook.
Thanks
Steve

Yes it would. If you upload music to a site like FaceBook that is effectively broadcasting it. The licence for the music would be for personal use only.

Thanks for the quick response.
One more question if I use garageband loops instead of the music in Iphoto on facebook is this ok?
Am I breaking any laws with this.
Thanks

Breaking laws? I don’t know. Really you need to ask the people on Facebook about this. They’re the ones with their rule book.
