Launchd and Carbonite uninstall

Greetings! I tried Carbonite as a backup solution, didn't like it, and uninstalled it from my computer. This was some time ago.
Last night, my Time Machine backup hung up on "Preparing Backup..." When searching for a solution for this in the discussions, I saw advice to open up Console.app and look at the system.log file. When I did, I saw an endless string of messages like this:
Feb 25 07:09:41 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus54890): posix_spawnp("/Library/Application Support/Carbonite/CarboniteStatus.app/Contents/MacOS/CarboniteStatus", ...): No such file or directory
Feb 25 07:09:41 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus54890): Exited with exit code: 1
Feb 25 07:09:41 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds
Feb 25 07:09:51 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus54891): posix_spawnp("/Library/Application Support/Carbonite/CarboniteStatus.app/Contents/MacOS/CarboniteStatus", ...): No such file or directory
Feb 25 07:09:51 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus54891): Exited with exit code: 1
Feb 25 07:09:51 my user name com.apple.launchd98 (com.carbonite.carbonitestatus): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds
Wow! I can only imagine how long my computer has been running this function. I have search for any files on my system related to carbonite, and cannot locate any. Is there anyway to remove whatever is causing this endless loop?
Thanks for your advice.

Actually, false alarm. I found a .plist file in /Library/LaunchAgents/ that was responsible for the problem.

Beware of Carbonite. It continually crashed on my iMac and corrupted my lightroom catalog. Their customer service is awful. All they could do for me was to tell my how sorry they were.

Carbonite is very new to the Mac world. I would give them time before entrusting the contents of a computer to them. Their reputation was established in the PC world. Getting up to speed in a totally different environment takes time.
TM, CCC or SuperDuper! to me is a far superior solution to a backup than some remote site that is not even available if your computer crashes.

look inside the launchd plist file with text wrangler or property list editor (from developer tools).
There will be at least some paths listed for the executables, maybe even data paths.

You can host your own site for 3.98/mo.
unlimited storage space, web mail, sites, etc.
Just get your self a domain name, learn a little ftp and away you go or
even even upload files from the control panel they will supply with your
hosting.
Don't want anyone digging around in your site? just put up a banner page,
example:
http://azlist.info/
For secure backups store data in encrypted sparse bundle disk images on your server,
for file sharing set your own password protected directories.
You can setup subdomains for your friends, etc, etc.
