I have a food blog, upgraded to 09. Now, some of the pictures are repeating on home page and don't match entries. When you click on entry from home page, it's fine. Started in past week.

Join the club.
What I do in this case:
Possible prevention: make one change or new post at a time, upload each separately.
Damage control: make a change in the Inspector that only affects the blog, but all posts, like disabling comments and right away enabling them again (I don't know but this could erase your existing comments), that will return the images in the right places or put them back if they disappeared altogether. This will also clean up the rss feed.
But you will have to do this each time you add a post to your blog, or to any of your blogs, because it seems a change in one blog or site can/will have a damaging effect on an other blog.
Pray for insight and benevolence from the Mighty Apple Gods, so they will shower their goodness upon us and fix it. Amen.

P.S.: instead of doing what I did, disable/enable comments (in some cases this crashes iWeb - send in the crash report, but it works for the images), you could disable/enable search, that would probably also turn all posts into red and an upload/publish is supposed to get it alright again. If you have a big blog, this may take some time. But I can't come up with any better solution, those are the exclusive property of Apple Inc.

P.P.S.: Sorry, my last reply does not make sense. Enabling/disabling the search window in the Inspector (rss window) will not bring back your images or fix the rss feed. Only disabling and right away enabling again the comments will bring images back and fix the rss feed; this will put all entries in red and publishing them again will fix it. But when you do that you may lose your comments. I haven't checked this out yet.
In short we are in a pretty pickle.

Thanks for subscribing. I also have lots of questions about feedburner, but that's another story.
Okay, the wrong pictures are making me crazy. I might try what you said. I'm not sure what disabling comments would have to do with getting the right pictures on the home page.
I really wonder if I should continue with iweb for my blog. I plan to really grow it and I don't want to be at Apple's mercy. As far as I can tell, there is no one to call to get help.
Anyone else, can you please help us with this?

The above trick works for my site. But I have to disable and then immediately enable comments again, otherwise the app crashes. This will affect all entries (they turn red) and then you will have to publish all entries again. When this is done the images are supposed to be in the right places (they were uploaded all at the same time) and the rss feed is supposed to be fixed, until the next addition to your site.
But I wonder whether this quick disable/enable will not wipe out all your comments. I don't know about this.
At least this trick works for my blog here (but I don't have any comments yet, so it's easy for me to disable them):

And each time I add a new entry I have to use this same procedure to fix it temporarily.

To get the same result you can also do this:
Make a note of the entries that are wrong on the internet. Then go in your iWeb to those entries and make a small change in those pages, like moving something, then undoing it, any change will do. Then those affected entries will have to be uploaded again, but they are supposed to have the right images now. This might prevent the possible wipe out of your comments.
But, following this procedure may cause other entries to show the wrong images. That is why I always make a change that affects all entries, so all of them will be renewed on MobileMe/internet.
I am going to check out Rapidweaver. In that case I will try to get my money back from Apple.

Try trashing your iWeb plist (in your home folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist). iWeb will make a new one.
I have just done so, and after adding another entry the rss feed seems to be all right. I'll have to add some more entries first to know for sure whether this works or not.

Alas! Trashing the plist did not help at all. It seems to have made the bug worse. Now images from an other blog are being misplaced into a totally different blog.
iWeb3 is still misplacing images and even taking images from non-related blogs.
This is a serious bug and Apple should do something about this.

I called Apple. They were a big help. I published entire site and did the updates. Seems to work.
I did a new post and only hit publish and so far, so good.

I hope it sticks. I have given it another try and am uploading all for the third time now. Sometimes apps need repeating a command one or more times.
Let's hope adding new entries won't mess things up again and that there is no interference from my other blog.

When I had done a complete upload of one of my sites, call it site A, everything looked alright.
Then I still had a small background issue on one of my old sites, say site B; part of the background was not of the right colour. When I did a complete publish of site B, I got an error message that one image object ....png could not be saved. There is no way to know which image that would be. So there is but to continue the publish. And indeed the little background issue was solved now.
However, when I started iWeb again, I got a list of missing images. Guess where those images were missing. In site A, the whole blog summary page was empty. So actually fixing/publishing site B resulted in a bad site A blog page.
So I did my usual trick again (disable/enable comments) and lo and behold there my images popped up again. As the whole entries folder was now red, I thought it better to publish this part again. I checked the rss feed and this was still ok.
Conclusion: there is unwanted interference over several sites.
If you only have one site with one blog you won't have this kind of trouble. But still it is a matter Apple should see to. It severely limits the use of iWeb, in particular blogs.
I'll let you know how things develop, when I start adding entries to my other site/blog C.

My sympathy. Please send another feedback report to Apple.
The little trick I use or publishing the whole site again is only a temporary solution. I have stopped blogging now, because adding a new post somewhere, even in a different site, may damage an other blog.
The internal structure of iWeb has an essential flaw that messes up images in different blogs.
Instead of censuring some words here in this forum, Apple would do better to clean up its bugs, which are so much more offensive than words. We paid for it, so it should work as advertised.
