Hi

I suggest downloading the 10.5.7 combo update - http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_7_Combo_Update.
The combo update is a far better method to instal an update such as this. I'd be surprised if this didn't fix your problem.

What should I do now? Been using mac's for ages, but I am not that techie and don't know how to fix this. I am also poor and can't pay someone to fix it for me!

Hi -- several people are reporting problems with their printer drivers. If you go to System Preferences... / Print & Fax, is your printer there? Can you delete it (minus button) then add it back in again (plus button)? Does that help?

Can't offer any help, but am also experiencing Word (2004) problems since 10.5.7 install. Hangs when trying to edit a doc.

Yours is a different issue, editing Word rather than printing, so you should start a new post. But first you should go to the Microsoft forums and see if there is a solution there.
