Hi
Welcome to Apple Discussions
Might be a case of duplicate plugins.
In the Finder: navigate to your User Account>Library>Internet Plugins folder. Look there for JavaPluginCocoa.bundle. Move the plugin to HD>Library>Internet Plugins. If the same plugin already resides in this location, move it to the trash instead.
Restart Safari.

I did as you said. I didn't have to change anything because everything was where it's suppose to be. It still crashes.

Hi
Let me say it differently:
In your User Account>Library>Internet Plug-ins folder, move the jJavaPluginCocoa.bundle to the trash, then restart Safari.

My User account Internet Plug-Ins folder was empty before and it is still empty now. The JavaPluginCocoa.bundle is only in my HD Internet Plug-Ins folder.

Hi
Reinstall the Java Update. Before doing so, go to the Finder: HD>Library>Receipts>Boms and move to the trash the com.apple.pkg.JavaForMacOSX10.5Update4.
After the update, "repair permissions" via Disk Utility in your Applications>Utilities folder.
