Thanks. I am having issues with ATV constantly dropping the network connection (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1959199&tstart=0) many others are seeing this issue as well.
Hope the update fixes the problem.

the have switched the way tv show seasons are displayed.
pervasively it was the newest episode at the top... now it's the opposite - oldest episode at the top.

I don't see the upgrade option when I click on my Apple TV in iTunes. Is there something I need to do to initiate it?

While it makes perfect sense to have the newest episode at the top of the list, I always felt there was something strangely unintuitive about it.
I couldn't be happier that Apple finally agrees..

Yeah, it's disgusting.
I sent them a request to make it like their store, you know with the cover art with the blue rim, that'd be cool

FINALLY!!! They have seen sense and swapped the order of TV Shows and Movies so they are listed first ones at the top. This was rather silly before, when I numbered films that were part of a series such as the Bond films, but the AppleTV would show them as oldest first, which is the wrong way round imo. So glad they finally listed both films and TV Shows in the correct order.
I do wish they'd just give the whole UI an overhaul though.
Also, we STILL can't view videos that have been uploaded to MobileMe photo albums- we can only view videos uploaded via iMovie. Which is no good for the iPhone 3GS, which uploads videos to photo albums!
Another update please Apple!

i found a big problem!!! No more music with slideshows!

After updating, my slideshows that i have worked so hard to perfect no longer play music (that i have specifically assigned using iphoto).
The only way to get ANY music is to go into settings under photos in apple tv. but this ***** because you can't assign a particular song to the slideshow from the apple tv. you can only pick a playlist of songs and that same playlist plays for every slideshow!
Can someone confirm this? How how about those of you that have updated to the iLife 09? I still have the old version of iphoto
Is so, i am sooo bummed. One of the best things about apple tv in my opinion is the ability to play slideshows with specific music assigned for that particular slideshow on my big screen tv. everything from my daughter's newborn baby pictures to trip to the beach were assigned appropriate music.

I don't like the order now. Now I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the new stuff I haven't watched yet. And with the many seasons I have of stuff, sometimes that's a long scroll instead of what I want to watch being right there.
This is true of podcasts too.
I just wish they would give us the choice. Sort order should be an option.
